I’m a star! That’s cool … Isn’t it???

I got a shock today.
They say I’m going to be a star of some comic strip! I can’t believe my dad did this. Goodbye privacy. But hey maybe it’s OK… maybe it will get me on the radar with some hot guy at school.
The deal is that my dad is a tech reviewer for Tnet Online. He tortures our family making these tech videos that he thinks are funny. But a cool thing, he’s always bringing home tech gadgets and stuff and I get to try them out… along with my mom and brat little brother Marcus. So I guess this big company called TechGlobalWorldwide (what kind of weird name is that?) is Tnet’s owner, and they offered dad a bunch of money to follow our lives in a comic strip because we’re sposed to be “America’s no. 1 tech family.”
Today, a couple of creepy guys in suits, they called themselves cartoonists, showed up with a briefcase of money. Sick!… I’m going to ask dad for that new Porsche, the one that looks like a Lamborghini, so I can stop taking the bus to school. He’ll say no of course.
Still, this TechGlobalWorldwide company is seriously weird. You can google them to see what I mean! Why are they headquartered in the Cayman Islands? And how weird is it for these guys both to be named Steve and both have beards? That’s only the beginning. Why’d they pay my dad in cash?? That’s like, maybe I don’t even want to think about… Whatever. I’m off to talk to dad about the new car that I won’t get. Later.

I’m not a brat - that’s you, Sis! I’d rather have a Mustang than a Porsche
